A ritual does not get its power from its length, but from its recognisability. A familiar KUMO cup, a consciously chosen tea and a fixed sequence can already create a clear moment of calm in your day in just a few minutes. With this seven-day plan, you will discover which combination best suits your daily life.
As preparation, use the first two parts of the series: the personal KUMO tea ceremony and the KUMO ritual with tea, light and scent.
| Day | Tea | Ritual idea |
|---|---|---|
| Monday | Japan Gyokuro Asahi | Write down your most important focus for the week in one sentence and place it next to the cup. |
| Tuesday | Jasmine Pearls | During the brewing time, only look at the leaves, the steam and the colour of the tea. |
| Wednesday | Pai Mu Tan | Take a silent break without phone, music or news. |
| Thursday | Earl Grey Klassik | Drink the tea in a different place and rediscover your surroundings. |
| Friday | China Jasmine Superior | Note three pleasant moments from the past week. |
| Saturday | Bancha Houjicha | Make time for a longer ceremony with candlelight, a book or a journal. |
| Sunday | Your favourite tea | Look back on the week and choose the best combination for the coming days. |
The KUMO Mixed Clay is well suited for a natural, varied weekly routine. The lively clay look combines with light and dark teas. Those who prefer to start with a composed base can use the KUMO Natural Calm Set.
You can also consciously switch between colours: KUMO Blue for light and clear teas, KUMO Beige for floral varieties and KUMO Grey/Black for roasted or powerful aromas. This is not a fixed rule, but an invitation to discover your own combinations.
For a cosy Saturday or Sunday ceremony, the Fika Fest scented candle is perfect. The Forest Soul scented candle creates a more reduced, earthy atmosphere. On the Altar der Stille ritual bowl, you can neatly arrange the chosen elements.
After seven days, you don't have to maintain every routine. Choose the two or three moments that felt natural. Perhaps that's the floral tea on Tuesday, the dark cup in the evening, or the quiet Sunday break. It is precisely from repetition, selection, and personal meaning that your individual ceremony arises.
Which day and combination suit you best? Feel free to share your KUMO tea ritual in the comments.
Safety: Never leave burning candles unattended, place them stably and keep them away from children, pets, and flammable materials.
