🧁 Recipe: The “Hero of the Day Cake”

An uncomplicated, moist chocolate cake – perfect for pampering dad (and letting him have the last slice 😉).

Ingredients:

200 g dark chocolate
200 g butter
4 eggs
150 g sugar
100 g ground almonds
1 tsp baking powder
1 pinch of salt
1 tsp cinnamon (optional)

Preparation:

Melt chocolate and butter in a water bath and let cool slightly.
Beat eggs with sugar until creamy.
Stir in chocolate butter, then add almonds, baking powder, salt & cinnamon.
Place in a greased pan and bake at 175 °C for approx. 35 minutes.
Top with dark chocolate coating or powdered sugar – or leave it as it is: real & unadulterated.

Tip: Serve on a decorative plate and present with a matching scented candle – it will stay in your memory.
