Massage Routine for the First Cool Evenings: Oil, Warmth and Rest

Veröffentlicht: 19.09.2026 Lesezeit: 1 Min.
Winter oil and massage oils for a self-care routine on cool evenings

The first cooler evenings invite a slightly warmer care routine. A short massage, a suitable oil and a calm room can feel comforting without promising therapeutic effects.

Choose the oil

  • Traditional Massage Oil: a versatile choice for a gentle full-body routine.
  • Abendrot: suitable for a calm evening atmosphere.
  • Winter Oil: use very sparingly; perceived warmth varies and does not protect against cold.

Ten-minute routine

  1. Warm the room and prepare a towel.
  2. Warm a small amount of oil between the hands.
  3. Massage hands, feet or shoulders with comfortable pressure.
  4. Rest for two minutes and drink water or tea.

Fragrance pairing

If the oil is strongly scented, use an unscented candle. With a neutral oil, one soft cedar or lavender room note may be enough.

Safety

  • Use only on intact skin and patch-test first.
  • Stop if heat, pain or irritation feels uncomfortable.
  • Protect floors and textiles from oil.
  • Massage does not replace medical treatment.
