An incense stick quickly creates a strong olfactory presence. While it burns, it should remain the sole active source of fragrance.

The Single Source Rule

Use a spray before the ritual or on another day, but not during burning. This prevents an overly intense atmosphere and makes it easier to identify the source of any discomfort.

• Place the holder on a stable, heat-resistant surface.
• Collect all ashes completely.
• Keep a distance from paper, textiles, plants, children, and animals.
• Never leave incense unattended.
• Ventilate after use and choose a smoke-free alternative if you have respiratory sensitivity.
