A coherent self-care gift set does not need many products. The three-part principle combines one care item, one atmospheric or ritual item and one durable object.

The three parts

  1. Care: hand cream, lip balm, body oil or botanical soap.
  2. Scent or ritual: tea, aura spray, incense or one candle.
  3. Durable decor: cup, candleholder, small vase, bowl or planter.

Example combinations

  • Neutral lotion + mild tea + KUMO cup.
  • Lavender cream + unscented candle + double candleholder.
  • Body oil + cedar spray + small planter.

Choose for the recipient

Consider fragrance preferences, allergies, vegan requirements, pets, children and whether the person actually uses candles or incense. A smaller relevant set is better than a large generic bundle.

Presentation

Use reusable paper, fabric or a tray and include short instructions. Do not hide product warnings or ingredient information.
