The beginning of October is a useful point to simplify care, fragrance, light and decor before the darker weeks. A reset is not about buying more, but about deciding what will actually be used.

Four reset steps

  1. Care: keep one daily cream, one body oil and one occasional balm visible.
  2. Scent: choose one main direction for the month, such as cedar, lavender or warm tea.
  3. Light: create one safe candle or lamp zone.
  4. Decor: remove summer items that no longer support the room.

A practical weekly rhythm

Morning: light and fresh air. Evening: one care product and one subtle scent. Weekend: clean holders, trays and diffusers before refilling or reusing them.

  • Do not store cosmetics directly beside heat sources.
  • Keep candles on heat-resistant trays and away from seasonal decor.
