This first-class mild green tea, China Jasmine Superior, is cultivated in the mountainous southern Chinese province of Hunan and carefully scented with fresh jasmine. Some blossoms remain in the tea, giving it not only its special appearance but also its delicate, floral fragrance.

Preparation: For each cup, place one teaspoon of tea into a pot that you have rinsed with hot water to slightly preheat it. Bring soft or filtered water to a boil, then let it stand for five minutes to cool down slightly. Pour it over the leaves and blossoms. Inhale the alluring scent and, after steeping for three minutes, strain the tea. Drink it plain.
